    Responsibilities

    The Instructional Systems Specialist (ISS) (aka employee) is organizationally aligned within the Information Technology Workforce Development (ITWD) of the Office of Information and Technology (OIT). ITWD is an administration-wide, comprehensive, training-focused organization supporting Veterans Affairs (VA) by providing continuous information technology training and education to all employees.
    The mission of ITWD is to prepare VA's professionals to better serve our nation's Veterans through the delivery of targeted, competency-based learning/training and employee development programs. ITWD designs, develops and delivers high quality learning/training programs that are driven by and closely linked to VA's strategic goals and transformational initiatives including but not limited to the Federal Information Security Act of 2002 (FISMA) compliance and privacy rules of behavior training. This position impacts video-based virtual learning/training systems implemented in all departments throughout VA nationwide. You will perform all duties as assigned.
