Provides nursing care in accordance with the overall philosophy of Surgical Service, in sub-specialty clinic area of Otolaryngology (ENT). Performs nursing duties in the ENT clinic. Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Sets up and plans in advance for any clinic, anticipates needs of patients and providers, prepares patient for exams, obtains appropriate equipment and supplies without being reminded, and screens patient by assessing and recording vital signs and obtaining required information.
Assists with diagnostic or treatment procedures including obtaining and setting up sterile equipment and wide variety of specialized equipment and by providing information and support to the patient.
Work and plans with co-workers and clinic team to coordinate and carry out clinic activities to meet fluctuating workloads.
Provides basic and skilled nursing care in a variety of clinic settings. Modifies care to meet individual physical and emotional needs of patient. Documents all care given.
Sees patients in clinic to monitor progress, give injections, provide teaching. Evaluates any need of patient to be seen by professional nurse and physician that day.
Makes skilled observations of patient's condition and recognizes those needing immediate care as opposed to the patient who may wait for scheduled appointment time. Takes appropriate actions in emergency situations and documents.
