This is a GG-14 position in the Cyber Excepted Service Personnel System (CES). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Command's lead for cyber operations test and evaluation (T&E) activities integrating T&E into all phases of the development, acquisition, and utilization of cyber operational (CO)-peculiar capabilities with the aim of validating performance both before and after deployment.
- Provides direct leadership and continuing oversight of all CYBERCOM capabilities development projects ensuring testing and evaluation (T&E) activities are integrated into all phases of the development, acquisition, and utilization lifecycle.
- Provides expert technical advice to Command directorates, DoD-wide cyber elements, and other senior management officials in addressing rapid deployment testing and evaluation (Tand E) aspects of urgent operational contingencies.
- Recognized expert dedicated to advanced and highly specialized system T and E concepts and resources essential to the fielding of state-of-the-art cyber operational and/or defensive capabilities.
- Applies broad-based expertise to continuing efforts to assess DoD cyberspace operations
