    This is a GG-14 position in the Cyber Excepted Service Personnel System (CES). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Command's lead for cyber operations test and evaluation (T&E) activities integrating T&E into all phases of the development, acquisition, and utilization of cyber operational (CO)-peculiar capabilities with the aim of validating performance both before and after deployment.

    • Provides direct leadership and continuing oversight of all CYBERCOM capabilities development projects ensuring testing and evaluation (T&E) activities are integrated into all phases of the development, acquisition, and utilization lifecycle.
    • Provides expert technical advice to Command directorates, DoD-wide cyber elements, and other senior management officials in addressing rapid deployment testing and evaluation (Tand E) aspects of urgent operational contingencies.
    • Recognized expert dedicated to advanced and highly specialized system T and E concepts and resources essential to the fielding of state-of-the-art cyber operational and/or defensive capabilities.
    • Applies broad-based expertise to continuing efforts to assess DoD cyberspace operations
