About the Position: This position is located in San Diego, California for the Extremity Trauma and Amputation COE Research and Surveillance Program at the Naval Medical Center. Serve as the subject matter expert on ethical, legal and procedural requirements for protocol development for studies involving human subjects. Facilitate the preparation, submission, and tracking of IRB documentation and IRB requested changes under the guidance of the study principal investigator or designee. Serve as a lead for recruitment of participants for Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence research studies. Provide comprehensive budget and administrative support to include the use and expenditure rate of budgeted funds.Learn more about this agency

- Facilitate the preparation, submissions and tracking of Institutional Review Board request changes.
- Complete review documentation to maintain continued approval of study.
- Request and analyze data to develop special and periodic reports required by the Senior Scientists, Research Director and external agencies.
