About the Position: This position is located in the Murtha Cancer Center for the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. The majority of work is performed in an office setting and requires some standing, ambulation, bending, and carrying of items such as training manuals. The incumbent will be required to sit for long periods of time at a computer terminal typing data while having face to face contact with staff and answering the telephone. Parking at WRNMMC is extremely limited and by permit only. Commuting via mass transit is strongly encouraged and in close proximity to the installation. Federal employees qualify for Metro Benefits that subsidize public transit fees. Employees may be placed on a parking pass waiting list if desired.
