This position is in the Travel Operations Group (TOG), Associate Managing Director - Financial Operations, Office of Managing Director, Federal Communications Commission located in Washington, DC.
Incumbent is responsible for the examination, classification, recording, processing and analyzing and validating financial transactions (e.g., receipts, collections, commitments, accounts receivable, posting and liquidations, assessment of fees and penalties, invoicing obligations, accruals, or payments) required to support FCC Travel Operations Group -Incentive Auction program. Types of financial transactions are primarily related to accounts processing and paying of the agency’s Incentive Auction winning bidders (non-movers) and reimbursement for TV Broadcasters relocation bills, but are not limited to, activities related to the Incentive Auction program but also the collections of monies due to the Government, contracts, purchase orders, travel advances, temporary duty travel, and voucher reimbursements, permanent change of station relocations, transportation payment, Debt card transactions, Government-owned and leased real property transactions, Government credit card transactions, interagency transactions, reimbursable, work agreements and billings, and Department of Treasury and General Services Administration transfers. Incumbent is responsible for researching accounting and financial regulations, providing daily operational support to the automated accounting and financial information system.
