    Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

    This is a Tier 2 position. The salary for Tier 2 positions in Army is normally between $165,842 and $182,252. Pay is set based on consideration of selectee's current salary and other factors.

    This position is in the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (DISES) which is a small elite group of top government leaders. DISES members possess a diverse portfolio of experiences including strong skills to lead across organizations. As a Senior Executive, you will influence the direction of innovation and transformation of the federal government and lead the next generation of public servants.

    This is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position.

    Serves as the Army G-2X and Director, Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Foreign Disclosure and Security Directorate (DAMI-CD), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA). As such, the incumbent is responsible for all aspects of Army CI, HUMINT, Foreign Disclosure and General Intelligence Security (GIS). Serves as the Army's expert relative to CI, HUMINT and GIS efforts, including Personnel, Technological, Information and Industrial Security; Foreign Disclosure; Insider Threat; sensitive CI and HUMINT operations; CI, HUMINT and GIS training, modernization and technological development; and management of personnel programs.
