This position is located at the Voice of America's, Khmer Service in Washington, DC. The Incumbent serves as an International Broadcaster in a multimedia environment with responsibility for conceiving, planning, researching, writing, and broadcasting original audio/video scripts of a highly complex nature and for radio and TV-video programs and mobile/online digital and social media.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Write original feature reports of various lengths on subjects of particular interest to the target audience.
-Select and sequence news items and scripts, assigning work to Khmer staff as necessary.
-Provide the Service Chief with regular reports on staffers performance and productivity. Prepare performance evaluations of staff members.
-Edit material. including still pictures and audio clips that accompany internet stories.
-Apply VOA editorial standards and practices to the editing of service-originated reports, feature programs, interviews, and other program material.
-Keeps up to date on Cambodia, its people, history, literature and customs.
-Appears on-camera regularly as a television news story presenter, in-field reporter and interviewer and in-studio interviewer and a on camera program host.
-Plans and directs the development of radio and TV programming and program packages in the Khmer language by analyzing political, cultural and economic trends in order to meet U.S. objectives and present a cohesive, listenable or watchable broadcast or readable digital content to the people of Cambodia.
