As a Supervisory IT Specialist , you will serve as a Division Director responsible for establishing and maintain the vision, principles, governance procedures and technical standards for the agency's enterprise architecture (EA).

MAJOR DUTIES:
Responsible for managing and guiding the development of the GSA EA, which employs business process analysis techniques to engage business subject matter experts, to capture business processes in standards based, platform independent models, including providing enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams, and building an agency-wide business architecture that will help the GSA service lines build capabilities and digital strategies that serve as a blueprint for their future state; Determines the gaps between the current and the target architecture and develops plans for transitioning to target architecture by working closely with IT leadership, key stakeholders from the staff and service offices, and key governance boards; Leads the controlled unclassified information program, assisting the agency in the initiative set forth by NARA; Serves as a key advisor and consultant, in coordination with the CTO, in the planning, development and implementation of systems solutions supporting GSA's business model, short and long term plans; and to to the CIO, the Deputy CIO, Associate CIO’s for major information technology architecture issues affecting GSA including enterprise architecture development and institutionalize a life cycle system development methodology, and; Oversees/leads/manages/advises on program/process involving agile development, systems modernization/modernizing legacy systems and a path forward, digital services, Cloud implementation, and solutions and enterprise architecture.
