This Announcement is Open to: Current appointable DeCA employees with a career or career conditional status.
Responsible for managing all of the activities and functions of the commissary to include a full range of managerial and supervisory responsibilities.
Execute Agency policy, sales, and promotional programs.
Coordinate with the Zone manager in developing and implementing local commissary management policies and procedures.
Participate in customer advisory council meetings.
Analyze a variety of management reports to determine efficiency of operations and initiates action to correct deficiencies.
Direct, monitor, and adjust the overall execution of the store sales plan ensuring that sales goals and targets are met.
Manage and monitor all budget funding expenditures to ensure that execution is within the parameters of the funding program for their individual store.
Establish, monitor, and adjust a variety of programs to include but not limited to inventory control, store security, safety, customer relations, sanitation, and patron identification.
Initiate, approve, and obtain all required concurrences for personnel actions within the store.
