The Selectee will work shift 3 and have a tour of duty from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Note: An additional 10% night rate will be added to salary.
Mission
SID designs, prints, manufactures, personalizes and delivers the most trusted credentials in Government.
This position is located in the Secure Credentials Center, Office of the Operations Manager of the Security and Intelligent Documents (SID) Business Unit. The employee's duties typically involve the preparation for postal and armored car shipments of packed and sealed cartons; maintenance of the dust-free, clean-room environment; retrieval of finished cards from Card Punch Machine; and transportation of raw and finished materials between the loading dock, Secure Credentials Center, and other areas of SID, as necessary.

Background Investigation:
To ensure the accomplishment of its mission, the GPO requires every employee to be reliable and trustworthy. To meet those standards, all selected applicants must undergo and successfully completed a background investigation for a Secret Cl?earance. This review could include financial issues such as delinquency in the payment of debts, child support and/or tax obligations, as well as certain criminal offenses and illegal use or possession of drugs.
