The Operating Committee (OC) is looking for a bright, energetic, and results-oriented person to join the fast-paced and exciting team of professionals within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Export Administration.
The selected candidate will serve as an Export Policy Analyst within the OC. The selected candidate will perform analytical, program management, research or similar work requiring understanding of and addressing, regulatory policy or related issues and objectives; apply analytical and evaluative skills to a range of significant and complicated programs and issues; plan, organize and carry out assignments within the area of responsibility, contribute to achievement of primary organizational objectives in the assigned area; effectively communicate verbally, and in writing policy and regulatory objectives; and interact with other agencies, private sector elements or the public on matters requiring a credible and effective spokesperson.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires a TOP SECRET CLEARANCE. Any required investigations and clearances must be completed before the selectee can be placed in the position.
DRUG TESTING: Except as prohibited by law, all applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment, and if appointed the incumbent will be subjected to random drug testing procedures.
Travel: Must have a valid driver's license.
