Serves as intermediary with other intra and inter-agency counterparts involving non-federal government radio communication station frequency assignments. Works with National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) peers to coordinate applications with federal government agencies. Analyzes applicable rules, policies and procedures, and provides interpretations to intra and inter-agency counterparts, that address technical issues impacting frequency usage, licensing parameters, and standards. Assists in resolving radio frequency interference between non-government and government stations. Implements recommended changes to the current automation process and electronic mechanisms used to coordinate non-government and government frequency assignments. Uses computer tools to coordinate frequency assignments and specialized software to analyze frequency assignments.
