    These positions are located in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pesticides Programs, Registration Division, Herbicide Branch, in Arlington, VA.     At the entry level of this position, you will:

    - Engage in research activities pertaining to the use of chemicals in aquatic ecosystems;

    - Review scientific reports concerning pesticide residues on raw agricultural products, processed foods and/or feed additives;

    - Gather and assemble data for meetings concerning pesticide registrations and related activities;

    - Prepare reports on aquatic and/or terrestrial weed control.

    When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
