    Responsibilities

    As Human Resources Management Specialist for the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC), Santa Rosa Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), the incumbent serves as principal point of contact and HR generalist providing advice and counsel to managers, supervisors, and employees on a full range of Human Resources Management Service (HRMS) policies, programs, practices, and procedures affecting assigned personnel. The HR Generalist independently identifies, studies, and resolves complex and interrelated issues/problems requiring application of a wide range of HRMS concepts, laws, analytical and diagnostic methods, and techniques to varied situations and developing trends. He or she must maintain current knowledge and answer questions on procedures, policies, directives and direct lower graded administrative personnel, as needed.

    Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM
