The SaTC program, in collaboration with industrial and international partners, takes an interdisciplinary, comprehensive and holistic approach to cybersecurity and privacy research, development, technology transfer, and education that leverages the disciplines of computing, communication and information sciences, economics, education, engineering, mathematics and statistics, and social and behavioral sciences. This position, supporting the Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC) program, is located within CISE/CNS. The incumbent will work with the CNS Division Director and Deputy Division Director, and with Program Directors within the SaTC program. The position requires strong written and verbal presentation skills, expertise in data analytics, and attention to detail. A working knowledge of the research in cybersecurity and privacy supported by NSF is important. Assignments will include: assisting SaTC program directors in award management (including budget implementation); assisting with organizing external meetings and workshops; collecting, analyzing, and presenting portfolio data; collecting and presenting highlights; and assisting in the development of external presentations and reports. The ability to work collegially, coordinate among multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively at different levels within the agency, with counterparts in other agencies, and with members of the scientific community and the public at large is essential.
SaTC is a high-profile, multi-directorate program with significant external engagement with the academic research community as well as other federal agencies, industry, and NSF’s counterparts in other nations.
