    As a Behavioral Scientist you will:

    • Conduct research projects in various aspects of behavioral, social and cultural influences on questionnaire response, and techniques.
    • Prepare reports, articles describing findings from research projects that present new theories, concepts and approaches and represent important additions to the body of scientific knowledge relating to questionnaire design.
    • Prepare documents for peer review and publication in scientific journals.
    • Present research findings at meetings of professional organizations, and provides advice and consultation on the application of research findings within and outside NCHS.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position 5% domestic.
