This position is located in the Logistics function of an Army National Guard Austin Army Aviation Support Facility, Del Valle, Texas. The purpose of this position is to act as the Aircraft Mechanic (Crew Chief) with responsibility for managing the operational readiness of one or more aircraft, and proficiency training of supported aviation unit personnel.
Appointment Factor(s): This is an excepted service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Army National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Applicant who are not already on-board employees with the Texas Army National Guard do not meet the eligibility for this position.
