Provides program-related input into Information Technology (IT) programs and projects; provides services that include consultation and assistance in the development and maintenance of a rolling 5-year IT spend plan, education/training/outreach, IT research and analysis, and Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) acquisition/investment review.
Supports program management activities to align the program with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) program, Capital Planning and Control (CPIC) processes, and other planning and performance measurement processes; manages annual updates of ODEP’s Strategic Plan.
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative on various contracts that involve varying degrees of risks and monitors the day-to-day administration of the contract, maintains a separate complete file for each contract that can be easily audited or accessed as necessary in order to facilitate contract review, evaluation and closeout.
Consults with customers to identify, specify, and justify resource requirements to include developing, establishing, and implementing overall functional and systems requirements.
Serves as liaison to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) organizations to develop, maintain, and articulate technical and accessibility requirements for coordination of support services and ensure fulfillment of ODEP requests and analyses technical issues, troubleshoots, and assesses and implements solution choices.
Works in close cooperation with the OCIO Section 508 Program Coordinator. As the ODEP Section 508 POC serves as a resource to ensure conformance with Section 508 and the DOL Section 508 Accessibility Implementation Plan (AIP).
In this role, conducts Section 508/WCAG accessibility evaluations for documents, websites and desktop applications using both manual and automated testing techniques. In addition, conducts Assistive Technology, Section 508/WCAG/accessibility training for staff, managers, supervisors, and relevant audiences.
