This is a time-limited postdoctoral position for an Astrophysicist in the High Energy Astrophysics Division of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. The employee works under the direction of an Astrophysicist within the Division. The scientist will undertake and develop a program of research for extragalactic jets associated with quasars. The study involves the planning and implementation of observing programs, the analysis, modeling, and interpretation of data obtained with space-based and/or ground-based facilities, and the presentation and publication of significant scientific results.
