This position serves as a Geospatial Ecologist for the Canyon Country Fire Zone located in the Moab Field Office. The incumbent serves as a consultant and technical advisor with responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing geospatial technological applications, assessments, and projects in support of BLM business activities and special initiatives. This position provides a unique combination of geospatial and ecological skills to facilitate the integration of landscape scale data and processes into state and/or regional level decision making and business practices.
