The Director, Program, Planning and Evaluation Division reports to the Associate Administrator (AA) for Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO). In this position the incumbent is responsible for the following:
1. Manages, directs, and coordinates a wide-ranging portfolio of Agency-wide Equal Opportunity (EO) policies, programs, and processes relating to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) as well as workforce demographic data and analysis.
2. Serves as the principal advisor to the Associate Administrator, for Diversity and Equal Opportunity on all matters concerning the achievement and management of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
3. Directs NASA’s D&I programs, including the following: (1) the NASA Model Agency Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Plan and Annual updates under the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) Management Directive 715; (2) D&I policies, programs, and reports; (3) Special Emphasis programs; (4) administration and maintenance of automated databases and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to collect, manage, analyze, and report workforce data; (5) executive direction to assess workforce data, identify barriers to EEO, and inform strategy and solutions to enable workforce diversity and inclusion; and, (6) oversight of NASA programs and contracts relating to D&I.
