Capital markets interns will analyze financial market information and inter-relationships while utilizing skills in business, finance and markets or banking. Maintain performance measures and statistics relating to OPIC's project finance and investment funds transactions and their market behavior particuarily when compared to the market for US Treasurey Debt issues. Particular focus is placed on market pricing, performance of banks providing services to OPIC Capital Markets, determining investors in OPIC-guaranteed obligations and deal structuring practices and opportunities available to OPIC. Knowledge of PC-based Excel spreadsheets and word processing.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be currently enrolled in a full or part-time accredited degree program such as finance, public policy or MBA program. Must be in good academic standing. The applicant must have 2-5 years experience in banking, capitol markets or coporate finance.
