Framework Monitoring Division:
Part of OPIC’s activities include providing financing and loan guaranties to financial intermediaries that in turn use the OPIC-backed funds to support dozens of downstream projects that meet OPIC guidelines. OPIC provides this financing through its Framework and Loan Guaranty Facility (FLGF) program. The portfolio of FLGF projects is managed by the Framework Management Division (FMD), a division in OPIC’s Financial & Portfolio Management Department. FMD also manages OPIC’s loan syndications.

As an intern within FMD:
You would assist FMD officers to manage the FLGF and syndications programs, including assessing the financial performance of the financial intermediaries and their sub-projects (i.e., ascertaining their on-going OPIC loan compliance and other related tasks), performing industry analyses and country risk analyses. Duties include reviewing financial statements, analyzing models of projected project cash flows, research on policy issues, preparation of country economic and political risk analyses, preparation of credit reviews of outstanding loans, as well as other related duties assigned
Must be a U.S. citizen Must be currently enrolled in a full or part-time accredited Master's program Must be in good academic standing. Finance and Financial Analysis experience preferred.
