The Performance and Administrative Services Division (PAD) provides operational and policy oversight to assigned functional areas, plans and directs the overall coordination and implementation of White House, USDA, and other Government-wide initiatives, and directs the development and implementation of major policies and initiatives to ensure effective use of resources and accomplishment of program mission. PAD formulates and develops processes and work products for administering various Agency change initiatives (e.g., process improvement and mapping, modernization activities) designed to ensure AMS’ continual transformation toward becoming a more performance-based, results-oriented, and streamlined organization, and provides overall direction and oversight of the Agency statutory and regulatory functions/requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993.
Salary Information: First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lowest rate of the salary range for the grade selected.
