As an Aircraft Pneudraulic System Mechanic Helper, WG-8268-05 potential WG-08 to WG-10 and finally a WG-11, you will assist journey level workers to repair, overhaul, modification, test and maintenance of External Fuel Tanks and components on assigned aircraft which are uniquely modified for use as test aircraft for research and development. You will also:
- Perform unskilled work for the purpose of obtaining work experience and on the job training, leading to full qualifications and assignments to trades helper or semi-skilled full performance level position.
- Read and comprehend simple operating procedures.
- Perform less complex tasks such as disassembly and replacement.
- Accomplish very basic repairs/modification tasks within the On the Job Training (OJT) process, being instructed and mentored by a journeyman ground power mechanic.
