This position is located in Office of Land and Emergency Management, Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation, Technology Innovation and Field Services Division, Arlington, VA.

At the entry level of this position, you will:
-Provide analytical chemistry expertise to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Contract Laboratory Program (CLP). Formulate technical guidance policies and/or procedures for specific lab analytical technologies or methods relevant to environmental cleanup programs.
-Define and oversee quality assurance programs for laboratories that support hazardous waste site cleanups.
-Serve as member/leader of technical teams that address analytical chemistry needs (e.g. lab methods, lab data review, or electronic tools that streamline these processes).
-Respond (orally and in writing) to public, EPA regional, and customer inquiries concerning analytical methods and contract programs. Develop and/or deliver oral/written materials in support of briefings, conferences, and/or customer service needs.

Occasional travel - You may be required to travel 1 to 5 days a month.
