    This position is located in the Division of Administration, Dallas Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of planning, directing, and implementing effective human resources management programs.

    The primary duties of the Human Resources Officer position for the Dallas Regional Office include:

    • Leading a team of Human Resources professionals in providing human resources products and services. Assigning work and assessing work products, affixing responsibility and evalutaing performance.
    • Providing guidance, consultation and assistance to managers, supervisors and employees on all aspects of human resources issues. Serving as the regional authority on federal human resources laws, regulations, directives and negotiated agreements.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, employees, labor representatives and others throughout the serviced organizations. Coordinating with human resources managers and supervisors to coordinate efforts and ensure consistency in human resources program administration.
    • Participating in the development of new and improved procedures and guidelines affecting human resources activities. Ensuring that changes to human resources rules, regulations, or guidelines are implemented in a timely and professional manner. Assessing the overall human resources program for effectiveness and efficiency. Working with clients and staff to ensure the workplace is compliant with merit systems principles and is free from illegal discriminatory practices and harassment.

    25% or less - Occasional travel may be required.
