About the Position:
This Interdisciplinary position is located in the Mounted Systems Evaluation Directorate, Maneuver Support Division of the US Army Evaluation Center (AEC).
AEC plans and integrates developmental testing, independent operational testing, independent evaluations, assessments, and experiments to provide essential information to Soldiers and into the hands of acquisition decision makers supporting the American Warfighter.
Acquisition Demonstration Project position: The NH-04 broadband incorporates former GS-14 step 1 through GS-15 step 10 grade levels and salary levels. Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS). AEC uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will go no higher than $146,464.00.

Serves as Senior Evaluator and/or Test Manager in the Mounted Systems Evaluation Directorate. Mounted Systems Evaluation Directorate serves as the AEC focal point with management responsibility for test management and system evaluations on: light, medium and heavy tactical and combat vehicles. Will conduct test management, system evaluations, and program management using knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical concepts as well as a technical and operational knowledge of tactical, autonomous, and combat wheeled vehicles and the associated test methodologies. In addition, the position will use high level organizational abilities as a team leader of distributed team members; represent the command at the highest levels by communicating effectively; solve problems by working independently with customers, sometimes across commands and services; mentor junior test managers and evaluators with an in-depth knowledge of the test and evaluation process.
