    Responsibilities

    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as IT specialist with responsibility for planning, coordinating, analyzing, and evaluating development and maintenance of system and software applications in addition to providing data administration support for the development of software applications to ensure integrity, timeliness, quality control, and efficient utilization of strategic data.

    • Analyzes processes and problems relative to the design of systems and develops and recommends corrective action.
    • Attends meetings and presents briefings. Participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, committees or special projects.
    • Provides technical guidance and assistance, system advisory services, and training to functional users of IT. Provides data administration for assigned systems.
    • Assesses policy needs to aid in the development of policy and procedures governing IT activities. Assists with contracting functions and budget preparation.
