This position is being filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC § 1705(g).
About the Position:
This Interdisciplinary Position is located at the US Army Evaluation Command (AEC) Integrated Suitability and Methodology Evaluation Directorate, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
AEC plans and integrates developmental testing, independent operational testing, independent evaluations, assessments, and experiments to provide essential information to Soldiers and into the hands of acquisition decision makers supporting the American Warfighter.
AEC uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will go no higher than $123,234.00
Acquisition Demonstration Project position: The NH-03 broadband incorporates former GS-12 step 1 through GS-13 step 10 grade levels and salary levels. Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS). In this position you will serve as an integrated suitability evaluator performing a broad range of analysis for assigned systems in support of Army Acquisition. Conducts reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) planning, analysis and evaluation, to include reliability growth, and appropriate statistical and reliability engineering methods; implements RAM policy, standards, methodology and tools. Conducts integrated product support (IPS) analysis and evaluations. IPS includes sustainment; supply support; maintenance planning & management; packaging, handling, storage and transportation; technical data; support equipment; training & training support; manpower & personnel; facilities and infrastructure; and computer resources. Integrates human systems integration (HSI) assessments from external agencies. Analyzes and evaluates results by producing insightful findings, alternative courses of action, solutions to critical problems, etc., which have significant impact in changing or improving practical and/or theoretical doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities (DOTMLPF) and Readiness related issues that support units of the Army in the field.
