Serve as a supervisor of both civilians and military personnel within the electronics technician (biomedical) for Clinical Engineering. Responsible for planning & managing the Clinical Engineering section at Madigan Army Medical (MAMC). Support & advance patient care by applying biomedical engineering & management skills and knowledge of healthcare technology to ensure that all hospital equipment is tested / aligned for peak functionality. Educate employees & hospital staff on all aspects of equipment maintenance. Manages personnel, maintenance expenditures, instrumentation, & projects to promote the safe, effective, and reliable application of technology throughout the healthcare network. Work within the department involves medical equipment services, supply purchasing, contract management, and administration functions. Recommends promotions, reassignments, & awards. Resolves informal employee complaints. Implements provisions of personnel management plans such as incentive awards, suggestions program, & informing employees of management goals.
