This position is located the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS), Engineering and Operations Group (EOG). EOG is responsible for the design, engineering and day-to-day operations and management of GAO's IT infrastructure.

-Provides hand-on IT support fo field office users in support of computer laptops, towers, printers, wireless access, video teleconferencing, and digital phone equipment.
-Provides on-site support to headquarters engineers in support of troubleshooting, upgrades, and equipment changes/repairs.
-Provides technical support during local sites outages (planned/unplanned) and disaster recovery exercises.
-Coordinates the resolution of local problems on assigned systems; and develops documents and maintains problem resolution procedures for various support functions.
