About the Position:
Incumbent serves as Fort Bliss Hospital Project (FBHP) Deputy Construction Manager. As such, incumbent performs the duties of both a subject matter technical expert and program manager for construction and management responsibilities of the $1.44 billion dollar medical program and ensuring the complex medical systems and major medical center construction activities are completely coordinated.

As a full deputy to the Fort Bliss Hospital Project (FBHP)Deputy Construction Manager the incumbent occupies the number two position in carrying out the mission. The incumbent shares with the supervisor his total responsibilities for this phase of the program and participates under very general control and supervision. Top controversial construction & engineering matters and questions of major policy are decided by the supervisor; however, incumbent's recommendations are treated as authoritative in the decisions.
