    These positions are located in various offices at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Headquarters in Rockville, MD, Region I- King of Prussia, PA, Region II- Atlanta, GA, Region III- Lisle, IL, Region IV- Arlington, TX and the Technical Training Center (TTC)- Chattanooga, TN. These positions are Non Bargaining Unit.

    Responsibilities

    The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) views summer students as our future workforce. The work performed is professional in nature and in a learning environment that gives the student intern the opportunity to evaluate the work for potential long-term employment. Student employment assignments are based on the functions and tasks performed in the organization to which you are assigned and ideally related to your academic and career goals.     These positions are part of the Temporary Student Summer Program. Applications will be accepted from United States citizens who are degree seeking students enrolled at least half-time in accredited educational institutions. Half-time enrollment is defined by the educational institution. For institutions that do not have a definition of half-time, half of full-time enrollment will be considered half-time.
