This position is located in the Austin Regional Office of the Economic Development Administration (EDA), Department of Commerce. EDA was established under the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 to assist in stimulating industrial and commercial growth in economically distressed areas of the U.S. as a result of high unemployment, low per capita incomes or other severe economic distress.
This position primarily functions as an analyst and administrator for the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program, managing the RLF portfolio, and monitoring borrower’s compliance with the terms and conditions of the RLF Program. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for analyzing data to provide evidence of progress in implementing recommendations to stakeholders, and analyze RLF data to provide input into managerial and policy decisions related to the RLF program. The position may apply analytic capabilities to other economic development grant projects.
This vacancy is being concurrently advertised under merit promotion procedures for status candidates (those currently serving on a career/career-conditional appointment, reinstatement eligibles, or those eligible under special appointing authorities) under vacancy announcement#EDA-ARO-2017-0014.
One year probationary period may be required.
