-Assists in a wide range of activities related to Systemically Important Financial Institutions (SIFIs), including the development, analysis and evaluation of resolution strategies and plans.
-Stays abreast of SIFI activities by researching various data sources.
-Coordinates and consults with other specialists in providing support in applying statutory and regulatory guidelines to the development and assessment of policy initiatives.
-Performs a variety of writing activities in the development and assessment of FDIC policies in support of Title I and Title II of the Dodd-Frank Act.
-Assists in preparing correspondence in response to inquiries from domestic and international regulatory and supervisory authorities, bankers, other government officials and members of the public.
-Develops written summaries/conclusions of analytical findings based on the analyses and assessment of resolution strategies and plans.
-Coordinates with counterparts in other divisions and offices; staff of other supervisory and regulatory agencies.
-Serves on multidisciplinary Resolution Plan Review teams and contributes to the analysis and evaluation of resolution strategies and plans submitted by the largest financial firms.
-Keeps OCFI management abreast of controversial or sensitive issues related to the resolution of SIFIs.
Moderate Risk Position - Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

2. Ability to apply technical banking knowledge regarding a SIFI to develop and analyze resolution strategies and plans.
3. Skill in reviewing and analyzing public rules and policies.
4. Ability to assist in the planning, communication and coordination of outreach activities.
