    Responsibilities

    Serves as the Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design (LEED) Manager for Engineering Branch. Ensures all projects have tools, resources, and strategies to achieve the highest level of sustainability. Acts as a resource for design-teams, regarding technical and/or procedural LEED issues, quality control of documentation, and maintenance and development of tools and resources available to LEED.

    • Provides technical advice and guidance to Project Managers, field personnel, design agencies, and others.
    • The LEED Manager be responsible for validating LEED submittals on projects as well as being the primary contact within Engineering Branch for LEED related directives and activities.
    • Maintains accountability for the Fort Worth District LEED program to identify program trends, problems, lessons learned, and recommends solutions to assure commitments and goals are met.
    • Facilitates the design process for all assigned projects or reviews work made by outside A&E firms and other Corps offices for excellence and compliance with regulations and criteria.
