    Responsibilities

    As a Project Architect in the Architecture Section, you will manage a team of assigned architects and interior designers to provide professional architectural and interior design services on assigned projects or task orders. Ensures that the Engineering Branch (EB) Design Process is fully implemented on all MILCON and Sustainment Restoration Modernization (SRM) projects involving a myriad of facility types of varying scopes and complexities. Utilizes the Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG) Integrated Design Process engaging all engineering disciplines in a collaborative design approach. Executes the design of all assigned projects in accordance with the Engineering Branch Design and Process, responsible for the coordination of all architectural and engineering services to produce high performance and sustainable buildings. Some of the major duties you will perform include:

    Assign project roles and responsibilities to individual staff members for assigned projects and/or task orders.
    Apply Project Management Business Process (PMBP) principles, developing positive relationships with customers, Program Managers, and internal team members to establish and achieve project commitments on all assigned projects.
    As Project Architect provide oversight, technical guidance, and mentorship to team members on all assigned projects, managing numerous projects concurrently.
    As Project Architect (PA) and member of the PDT, facilitate the design process for all assigned projects managing numerous projects concurrently.
