    This position is located in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) in Jacksonville, FL. The primary purpose of this job is to receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, hazardous materials, shop supplies, equipment and measuring devices and to build tool containers for the industrial production shop employees. The Tool and Parts Attendant is also responsible for keeping accurate records and tracking all tools and consumable items issued to and/or returned by shop employees from the Mega Centers and Central Tool cribs.

    The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

    Receive, issue and store assigned hazmat, consumables, tools and equipment.
    Inspect tools and incoming shipments for quantities and damage.
    Maintain records and documentation per applicable instructions.
    Follow established safety rules and regulations.
