    Responsibilities

    Responsible for oversight of programs and project management activities for a complex and diversified Civil Works Program. Ensure consistency and continuity of civil works projects within the district. Coordinate the overall district civil works program interfacing with branches and divisions such as Planning, Engineering, Real Estate, Contracting, Construction and Office of Counsel. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a quality product consistent with direction of higher authority, laws, regulations and policies. Apply knowledge and experience to manage multiple high-visibility projects in multiple fields such as flood control, hydropower navigation, water supply, environmental impact and protection, erosion control, rehabilitation of power house units, cumulative impact statements, dam safety, non-traditional bank stabilization, sediment analysis, and water supply. Collaborate and negotiate with multiple home district offices; local, state, and federal agencies/representatives and project sponsors/customers.

    25% or less - Up to 10% business travel may be required for this position.
