    This position is located in the Department of the Treasury, Office of the Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Business Solutions, Digital Services Team. The goal of the IT Specialist/Digital Services Expert is to work with a diverse group of stakeholders across the federal government to improve the complex digital services the government delivers to citizens and businesses. The incumbent will improve Treasury digital services through quantitative and qualitative application of user needs assessment.

    As an IT Specialist, you will:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert and active consultant on matters pertaining to digital services, application/computer engineering, network engineering, and communications protocols, and their combined impact on overall information technology security.
    • Develop policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to digital services offered by the government to the general public, other agencies, and business entities in the public and private sector.
    • Identify, develop, and build support and tools (technical and policy) for implementing a common user experience and brand across government digital services.
