This position is part of the WHS Facilities Services Directorate. As a General Engineer, this position is located in: WHS Facilities Services Directorate. As a General Engineer, this position is located in: Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Assistant Director of Engineering & Construction Management (ECM) Project Controls Division (PCD). The FSD Directorate is responsible for the management (including establishing policies, standards and procedures), administration and operation of facilities and services used by the Department of Defense (DoD) in the National Capital Region (NCR). This General Engineer position serves as an engineer advising the ECM Directors on project intake and approval, and takes the lead in coordinating among stakeholders to ensure the proper subject matter experts are consulted to produce project requirements packages that will deliver executable projects that meet the customers' needs. These projects are funded by the DoD Headquarters Military Construction (MILCON) Program and WHS working capital funds. Projects occur at WHS-managed facilities in the NCR with the primary focus being the Pentagon Reservation and the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) located in Pennsylvania.
