Implements Windows operating systems to include Windows Server 2008r2/2012 and Windows7/10, security plans, policies and preventive maintenance schedule. Implements and maintains Group Policy and Power Shell best practices for Windows Domain Controllers. Configure, maintain, and modify Active Directory structure to include in troubleshooting of File Servers, Certificate Authorities, and WSUS/SCCM issues.
Implements systems security plans, policies and preventive maintenance schedules. Using systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques, runs tests to verify operability and functionality. Carries out routine maintenance, upgrade, and support of servers. Performs assignments using standard principles, theories, concepts and methods for systems
administration and systems engineering. Provides ongoing optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical
business activities. Provides information and instructions related to the maintenance and service process. Runs systems
backups. Prepares and presents reports and briefings to technical staff. Interprets IT policies, standards and guidelines. Develops network usage policies and procedures.
Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.

Must currently possess or obtain (within 6 months of employment) and maintain the Microsoft Certified Server Associate (MCSA) for Server 2012 and a minimum Information Assurance baseline security certification of Security+ equivalent or higher certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical, Level II technicians).
Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications.
