This position is located in the Materiel Management Flight of the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing. The primary purpose of this position is to function as the installations technical expert in the management of centralized inventory functions and provide services in support of inventory control, storage, cataloging or supply identification, property utilization and accountability including those with automated or manual supply accounting systems.
As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (INVENTORY MANAGEMENT), GS-2005-7, you will:
(1) Responsible for centralized inventory management accountable under the guidance of the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO), to include warehouse assets, supply points, readiness spares, and WRM assets at prescribed frequencies.
(2) Ensures accurate asset accountability records are maintained. Performs research to resolve all inventory discrepancies.
(3) Prepares and publishes the master inventory schedule of all categories of property as outlined in Air Force Manuals and Instructions.
(4) Provide guidance to other Logistic Readiness sections to ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force and other applicable guidance in inventory management and control.
(5) Coordinates with Operations and Compliance section to ensure accurate reporting to the LRS/CC/AO in accordance with regulations.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
Must be a current military member of WY Air Nat'l Guard
Must submit vMPF Rip with application
Must possess at least the minimum ASVAB score listed for Qualification
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation
Indefinite position may convert to Perm if funding/position is available
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
The Selected applicant must complete an "I-9, Employment Verification", OF-306, Declaration of Federal Employment, and a "Declaration of Relatives in the Wyoming Military Department" prior to the appointment date.
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS).
Relocation expenses will not be paid by the Government unless noted in the Announcement.
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a Technician.
Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).
Indefinite employees may be terminated or displaced at management's discretion with a 30-day written notice.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
