The Financial Management Services provides financial management services that will shape an environment in which management officials have and use high quality financial and planning information to make and implement effective policy, management, stewardship, and program decisions.
We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative individual to serve as a Management & Program Analyst within the Business Planning Branch, ANG-A44. If you are selected for this position, you will support the Branch Manager and work closely with senior analysts to formulate and execute business planning priorities for the ANG organization and collaborate closely in a team environment to complete work products and support business objectives. Coordinate various business plan team meetings and make decisions within established timeframes with only broad and general guidance from the manager. Plan, coordinate, and schedule team meetings with participants from stakeholder organizations and collect and organize artifacts for the meeting. Prepare, assemble, edit and distribute business performance reports, change request documentation, as well as written communications in accordance with standard operating procedures established by the organization. Ensure prompt response and appropriate level follow through for ANG business plan inquiries and research, interpret and apply written procedures and policies to execute core functions. Use software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint to effectively execute duties and responsibilities. Provide input on business plan status information and conduct queries using business systems to prepare reports. Prepare monthly performance reports inclusive of business plan objectives, performance priorities, and change requests to aid management in making informed business decisions and utilize dashboard change requests to aid management in making informed business decisions and utilize dashboard visualization reports to provide key performance indicator status information on a monthly basis. Develop briefing books for the Assistant Administrator for NextGen and other management staff to include documentation such as, business plan performance summaries, and directorate level monthly performance reports.
In addition, you will track and analyze data to ensure compliance with business plans, identify, analyze and recommend solutions for complex and/or difficult problems and recommend improvement to the business plan processes.

To qualify for this position at the payband H, you demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
