This National Guard position is for a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT, Position Description Number NGD0899000and is part of the TX G4, National Guard.
This position is located in G4, DOL, Camp Mabry, Austin, TX. The purpose of this position is to assist in the operation of the Traffic Management program and provide assistance on all matters relating to commercial movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel for both peacetime and wartime.
Appointment Factor(s): This is an Excepted Service position that requires active membership in a compatible military assignment in the Texas Army National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Completion of 2 academic years of education in an accredited college or university will satisfy the requirements for GS-4 positions. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience for GS-5 positions.
