    These National Guard positions are for GS-05/06/07 SUPPLY TECHNICIANS, Position Description Number D1901P01 in SPMD 1220 and is part of the MO Construction and Facilities Management Office.

    WHO MAY APPLY: All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Army National Guard.

    APPOINTMENT FACTORS: These positions are Temporary NTE One Year vacancies in the Excepted Service. Employment can be terminated at any time. These positions can be filled up to four years as long as funds are available to support it. In the event a permanent (Tenure 1 or 2) employee is selected, and is willing to accept the temporary appointment, that employee will relinquish permanent status. Under a temporary appointment, the employment is subject to termination at any time. These are bargaining unit positions.

    NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: These are Excepted Service positions that require membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

    Responsibilities

    Manages supply activities to include support of inventory control, storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identification systems, property utilization, and other related activities using both Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and non-STAMIS systems. Reviews procurements through the appropriate STAMIS and vendor based web sites. Analyzes requests to ensure items being ordered are authorized. Coordinates payments to GSA, prime vendor, and local vendors by Government Purchase Card. Manages the GPC and the Federal Fuel Credit Card accounts (ground and aviation) to ensure charges and credits are being applied. Develops and applies standards to manager referred transactions. Coordinates with Continental United States (CONUS) supply sources (private and public) on materials needed to alleviate delays. Analyzes the integrated management of ASL stock and contingency stock. Analyzes vendor reports to determine the destination of expended funds. Manages supply transactions based on dollar limitations, status of Obligation Authority, consumer funds, coordinating with requisitioning activity and the source of supply. Manages excess supplies and equipment IAW USPFO procedures to determine the appropriate disposition. Manages stocks assigned to various classes of supply. Develops reports that track on hand supplies to ensure accurate accountability. Processes requests for ammunition. Processes ammunition receipts from depot, ASPs and turn-ins from units. Performs other duties as assigned.
