    About the Position:
    The Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC), headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is one of the most experienced and comprehensive support centers within the DOD. SEC provides the software expertise needed to support command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, (C4ISR) as well as logistics, business and enterprise systems in the modern digital environment. From initial concept, to development, testing, fielding and sustainment, SEC engineers are ready to ensure your software systems fully support your operational requirements.

    Responsibilities

    You will serve as the Cybersecurity Services Division Chief, Services Directorate, Software Engineering Center (SEC), Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) and are responsible for leading a division of Department of the Army (DA) civilians supported by Department of Defense (DOD) contractors. As the Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CECOM SEC you will oversee Cyber Engineering/Compliance, the Center's Software Assurance Program and the Cyber Workforce Development Program for the entire organization. As the Cybersecurity subject-matter expert, you will be responsible for utilizing forward thinking to assist the center in hardening the software domain and improving the cyber posture of all systems that CECOM SEC has software maintenance responsibility; currently in excess of 100 systems. Provide expertise in the areas of integration, testing, development and life-cycle maintenance. You will apply knowledge of priorities to define the SEC Cybersecurity direction and identify programs or infrastructures required to achieve desired goals within SEC.
