This is an Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) Workforce Position in the Contracting Career Field. The incumbent will be required to become certified at Level II in the applicable career field within 24 months of placement, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend the 24 months. AT&L position requirements will be used in the evaluation criteria.
The employee must meet the qualification requirements for contracting positions under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) as implemented under DoD Instruction 5000.66, Operation of the Defense Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Workforce Education, Training, and Career Development Program.
Candidates must meet the physical and suitability standards both prior to and during employment in this position.
